PERKINS, CRENSHAW, AND LEASHORE MUST RESIGN FROM THE WATER BOARD OR BE INDICTED

The State Department of Public Examiners has crucified Perkins, Leashore, and Crenshaw for ripping off the taxpayers of Selma by taking THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN SALARIES at the Water Board to which they were not entitled.
Specifically, the Public Examiners say LEASHORE TOOK $59,609 when he was entitled to only $15,400. CRENSHAW TOOK $70,653 when she was entitled to only $15,400 and Perkins has received $92,833; which no documentation exists that the Board ever set his salary.
While our Water Bills are GOING UP EVERY MONTH, these three are ripping the taxpayers of Selma off. THEY MUST RESIGN OR THEY SHOULD BE INDICTED. Enough is enough of taking money to which they are not entitled.
For more than THREE YEARS, Council President George Evans and Councilmen Cecil Williamson and Reid Cain have repeatedly tried to tell THE PUBLIC AND THESE THREE that the Council had never approved these outrageous salaries. Now the Public Examiners have agreed and said that the members should receive only $350 monthly, which the Council approved in 1989.
COUNCILMAN SAM RANDOLPH is also guilty of taking more money than he should have received and additionally the Water Board (Perkins, Crenshaw, and Leashore) gave Randolph more than $10,500 for a suit he brought against the Board. WHAT A SWEETHEART DEAL THAT WAS.
CITIZENS OF SELMA, WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO LET THESE PEOPLE STAY IN OFFICE. WE ALSO CALL ON DISTRICT ATTORNEY MICHAEL JACKSON AND ATTORNEY-GENERAL TROY KING TO TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO GET OUR MONEY BACK FROM PERKINS, CRENSHAW, LEASHORE, AND RANDOLPH.
HOW DISGUSTING THAT WE HAVE LEADERS LIKE THIS RUNNING THE CITY OF SELMA.
