It appears the curtain has risen for maybe the most deliberate play on the stage of Lies, Tricks, and Schemes. Even though Selma and Dallas co. recieved a little rain the past few days it is still dry and the the oasis in our desert is still just a mirage as is the resignation of Selma's Chief
Jimmy R. Martin cpc. We have read your post, watched the interview of Mayor
Perkins, read both letters on this site (which were written by the same
person), heard from those in bed with Martin and we have come to this
conclusion. HOAX!!!!!
We realize you are trying to be nice in saying Martin was sacrificed by Perkins but don't be fooled into thinking that Martin is not whole
heartedly involved in this plan because he is. No, he may not want to step
down as the CPC (Certified Police Chief) of the Selma Police Department, but
rest assured he is not going anywhere. This coming out of his own mouth
prior to and after the announcement of his resignation. Rumor has it that
Martin intends on bumping one of his own cronies out of his job so as he
(Martin) can have a cushy job in order to get the time needed to be able to
retire in a couple of years. Truth is Martin isn't smart enough to handle
any job that involves intelligence period. At one time Martin may have been
a good undercover drug operative; however, if reading or writing been
involved he was or is in trouble, he has always has been that way and always
will. This is why it is impossible to believe he wrote that resignation,
which might we add was full of fecal matter.
Perkins has been blasted for the past month not only by this website, city council members, the public, but more importantly by the very
departmental personel affected by Martin's inept leadership. Recently in a
meeting that was called by Perkins at the FOP lodge. Perkins gave amnesty to
all who attended against retaliation from Martin for what might be said in
the meeting as long as all were respectful to all involved. Perkins had some
idea that officers were mad at one another, but he (Perkins) was bombbarded
with personnal complaints as well as departmental complaints against Martin
by a room filled with some 40 officers. Perkins would not promise to do
anything; however, he did say he would meet with them in 30 days to give
them answers. To what, who knows. The meeting that took place with Perkins
was either taped or monitored somehow by Martin who was not present, again
rumor has it that Martin said he would deal with any officers who spoke out
against him.
Mayor Perkins operates on his administration on a basis of deception and Jimmy Martin who already was skilled in the art of deception apprenticed
under Perkins while guarding him from danger to perfect his ability. It is
said Perkins was asked in his meeting with the police officers "why, out of
all the candidates of your nation wide search did you pick Jimmy Martin to
be the chief?" Perkins response, "I trusted him." Not he was most qualified.
Not, he had the most experience. Not, he was the only candidate willing to
work for $50,000. But I trusted him. While accompanying Perkins on his
endeavors, Martin was able to see Perkins deepest darkest secrets because he
"trusted him." This is the true reason Jimmy Martin is the chief, hence
Perkins is stuck with his pupil turned key master and there is nothing short
of an ethics investigation, indictment, or election defeat of Perkins that
will rid us of Chief Jimmy R. Martin for good. Perkins will never press the
issue concerning Martin because he can't. He knows too much. The only good
that comes from Martin not leaving is that it is most definately political
suicide for Perkins to keep him around. Jimmy Martin is Perkins' shooter on
the grassy nole. Don't be fooled by what you read or hear. Believe it when
he is gone.
