This is a submitted e-mail that, even though we have no idea who it is and nothing can be obtained from his/her e-mail address, the e-mail will not be posted. We hope you gather as much information from this as we have. These words are cut/pasted directly from the e-mail page. Submitted:
"1) Jimmy Martin is hiring back an officer who when at the dept. was a loose cannon. He was notorious about using force when not needed. He was notorious about tearing up patrol cars. Now he is working for the Dallas Co. Sheriffs dept. and recently totaled out a patrol car while chasing a stolen vehicle when he negligently blew thru an intersection at a high rate of speed and was broad sided by an innocent motorist. This was the same m.o. he had when he was at the police dept. the first time. Now the sheriff has placed him in the court system as basically a bailiff and the officer who hated the police dept is coming back because the sheriff cannot trust him enough to operate a
sheriffs patrol vehicle. There is not a supervisor at the dept who wants him on there shift because of his, for the lack of a better term, policing techniques.
"2) Another veteran officer, well I use this term loosely due to the fact at the Selma Police dept. terms a veteran police officer as (2) or more years experience. They just dont make it much past that if they are worth having. Anyhow, a female officer has become pregnant out of wedlock and cannot work
the street anymore so the Chief has moved her to the trustbuild division/front desk. I understand removing her from patrol because of her delicate condition; however, beings he has already dedicated (3) able bodied officers (and 2 brand new patrol vehicles) to the trustbuild program it seems he would replace one back into partol at least until the female officer has her baby and can return to patrol. NOT! Patrol just has to sacrifice and that is passed onto the public.
"3) Several interviews were performed the other day on some new police applicants; however, the applicants were already givien a start date before the interviews by the chief and their uniforms were already being ordered by the chiefs new right hand man. One of the applicants admitted to the use of marijuana in excess of (20) times in his past and the use of it w/in the last (3) years. Well he at least should know what it smells like if someone is smoking it around him as long as he doesnt join in. One had been terminated from several jobs in the past but I don't think much research was done on why. Some of the personel who were chosen to interview the applicants did not even show due to the fact of the applicants characters and the fact they were already hired prior to the interview process. I guess Jimmy will revert back to using his rookie/veteran officers to do the interviewing as he has in the past and not worrying his command staff w/ that task, he might as well.

To which we replied asking if we could post his e-mail on the site. Not only did this person say yes, but he also included more info for us to post, and glad to keep the public informed, we now post his reply:
"That is fine. I don't think I wrote anything that would lead to the source. I wish I could do more. It is very disheartening to think that not only the mayor and city council, but the people of this city have sit back and allowed the police dept. to decay as it has. I can see how the current
mayor won the first mayors race due to the termoil that surrounded Smitherman w/ the Lewellen scandle and all. Heck I even thought it was time for a change, but it didnt take long for the "SMART" as well as myself to see that he and his body guard (retard) were exactly the type of persons for what he and Martin always quote that they do not like in a person, that being "a trickster, a schemer, and a liar." Those are their favorite choice in words in characterizing people. I hate to be mean, but the people of Selma are getting just what they bargained for, black and white. For every purse snatching, robbery, home invasion, ect, it is the indirect fault of every citizen who sits idlely by w/ closed lips.
"One other thing, I am not sure where you received the info on the new cars, but I didnt see it mentioned in the post that all of the supervisors from captain down to sergeant were given the new cars due to the fact that the biggest reason that our cars are so raggely is because the officers have killed them. These officers are so young and....?...uneducated that they do not understand that these cars are not indestructable. They are wide open everywhere they go and what ever they run over. If the new cars had been given to the patrol officers they would not have lived long either; however, Martins issuing out the patrol cars in the manner he did was ludicris. Martin did not come to the supervisors who work w/ these officers every day to see what they thought, he made the decision his self w/ minimal imput from "HIS" supervisors....aka=ass kissers. Sorry, but true. The department can not sustain much more losses of veteran, and I use that term loosely again, veteran officers. The only thing holding it together now is the Veteran Supervisors who are mostly all in patrol and not
in decision making areas.
"Do you remember the recent case w/ Michael goings, the fire fighter who was arrested for child abuse and the case was thrown out by Judge Armstrong? Have you heard why it was thrown out? The investigator, loosely again, did such a poor job on the investigation and case file that it is rumored that Armstrong threatened to put "HER" (the investigator) in jail. It is rumored that Armstrong was so mad that he pushed the file back at the prosecutor and told them to go and try to straighten that mess out and figure out what they were going to do. Now there is a child out there
who had its skull cracked and will require continual medical attention for some time and there may possibly be no jail time for the suspect. The investigator was placed in her position by Jimmy Martin. She couldnt write a simple report when she was in patrol let alone thrive as a detective.
"More info on the assassination attempt. Did you know that a PATROL unit was never called when he (martin) discovered the situation. Martin called HIS detective direct over the link and had him come to the supposed scene. There was never a call given out by E-911 to dispatch units to the scene. Hm? Murder plot, no call for help. Go figure. It is also rumored that the investigation was so pitiful on that case that it was laughed at when it arrived in the DA's office. Ex-Marion officer investigated that, moreover he is the chior director at Martins church. He is on tap to make around $50000 this year w/ a take home detective car. He works night shift patrol and the drug unit on his off days w/ overtime on top of that. $50k is a very conservative number.
"Did you know that Martin's youth director at his church is also his not yet promoted corporal, sergeant, assistant chief or whatever who is running the trustbuild, bike patrol, litter control, and on call animal expert. No he has no rank but many titles and subordinates. He is another who couldnt pour water out of a boot if the directions werent on the heal, but he has basically no responsible supervisor and no one knows what his duties are or what he is ever doing, plus he got a new car. (not that it means anything but he is also the suspected "Turd Burglar.") Wonder if there is any connection to his royalties? Sorry, that was mean.
"Ok, I am thru ranting. I do not care what you put on your site as long as it does not connect me to the info. Of course you dont know who I am, I guess, but I can not afford to be a target for their rath. My wife doesnt even know I am writing. I thought it better that way. I do not kiss butt, never will. I respect position but I can not respect ignorance and what is going on here is pure ignorance. Something has to be done."
