What they have in common is that THEY ARE ALL PUPPETS, MINIONS, AND CRONIES OF MAYOR PERKINS! Let's look at Henry Hicks, Daryl Thomas, John Williams, Kimesha Alvarado, and Tracy Shannon who have spent the CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS trying to get the City Council to meet to elect more members (Thomas, Alvarado, and Shannon) to the Selma City School Board.
Henry Hicks is the City of Selma's Public Works Director who has left garbage and trash all over Selma for 2 weeks and created a health and safety hazard for all our citizens. Hicks' planning ensured that only Wards 7 and 8 would have their garbage and trash picked up on schedule WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE CITY HAD NO GARBAGE OR TRASH PICK-UP FOR 2 WEEKS. All this during Christmas when people would have EXTRA garbage and trash to pile up on City streets. While endangering the health of our citizens, what was Hicks doing? Attending meetings and speaking publicly for Perkins attacking the City Council and ESPECIALLY PRESIDENT GEORGE EVANS! Considering the mess Hicks has made of the Holiday Garbage Pick-Up, we suggest he be fired so he can devote full time to campaigning for Perkins. By the way, since citizens pay $12 a month for garbage pick-up and garbage was not picked up for half a month, SHOULDN'T CITIZENS RECEIVE A $6 CREDIT ON THEIR GARBAGE BILLS?
Daryl Thomas gets our vote for the DUMBEST AND THE BIGGEST SUCK UP TO PERKINS. Is there anything Thomas will not do for the Mayor, even to the point of LYING ABOUT GEORGE EVANS? Remember Thomas worked for the City Finance Department. At the time, there were rumors about missing money in the City, THOMAS QUIT. We are not saying these rumors were true, but are trying to put Thomas' departure from the City in a time context. Thomas was one of those who interviewed for the School Board in June and has a vested interest in trying to get the $600 a month Board members are illegally paying themselves. Whenever you see the name Daryl Thomas, immediately think Perkins, Jr.
John Williams is the Chairman of the Selma City School Board AND A PERKINS PUPPET. Williams is primarily responsible for the division on the School Board. Rather than bringing people together, HE, like Perkins, is a DIVIDER. If Williams does for the School Board what he has done for the Community Action Agency, there will be investigations all over town.
Kimesha Alvarado is another person who was interviewed for the School Board in June and is looking to get on the Board with the support of the Crenshaw Block on the City Council. She is a johnny come lately to Selma and reportedly a disc jockey at 105.3.
Tracey Shannon is another Perkins flunky who was interviewed in June for the School Board and who made an impassioned plea at the City Council to PASS THE PERKINS BOND ISSUE OF MORE THAN $20 MILLION.
This gaggle of Perkins' misfits are not worthy to be on the School Board. WE URGE THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL NOT TO ELECT ANY OF THESE PEOPLE OR PEOPLE THEY SUPPORT TO THE SCHOOL BOARD!!!
