This website has been suspicious of MARK DUKE AND THE FREEDOM FOUNDATION since they left the affluent Colorado countryside to come to our impoverished city. OUR THOUGHT IS THAT HE PLANS TO USE SELMA'S NAME AND POVERTY TO REAP BIG GRANTS FROM NAIVE, DO-GOODERS across the country.

THE OLD TEPPERS BUILDING is the perfect vehicle for Duke and the Freedom Foundation to reap grants and foundation dollars from across America. CONSIDER HOW DUKE APPEARS TO BE LAYING THE GROUND WORK TO USE TEPPERS BUILDING.

DOCUMENT #1 BELOW SHOWS that Duke PERSONALLY purchased the Teppers Building from HANK AND ROSE SANDERS for $174,000.00 and filed the deed for the purchase at 9:12am on January 2nd.

DOCUMENT #2 BELOW SHOWS THAT ON THE SAME DAY, JANUARY 2nd, MARK DUKE SOLD THE TEPPERS BUILDING TO THE FREEDOM FOUNDATION FOR $175,000.00.

BUT, please note that in document #2, Duke PERSONALLY RETAINS OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF THE BUILDING because, as the DEED SAYS, the ENTIRE $175,000.00 purchase price "IS SECURED BY PURCHASE MONEY NOTE AND MORTGAGE OF GRANTEE (Freedom Foundation) TO THE GRANTOR (Mark Duke).

HOWEVER, NOW THE FREEDOM FOUNDATION AS A COLORADO NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, CAN SAY IT OWNS THE BUILDING AND APPLY FOR GRANTS, GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES AND OTHER TAXPAYER AND CORPORATE MONEY...SOMETHING DUKE PERSONALLY COULD NOT DO OR IF HE DID HE WOULD BE A LOT LESS LIKELY AS AN INDIVIDUAL TO GET GRANT MONEY THAN A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WOULD!

WE CAUTION THE PEOPLE OF SELMA: DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY GREEKS BEARING GIFTS OF BY COLORADIANS BEARING DEEDS!!
