The meeting you and Dr. Ralph Ioumi had with Selma officers at the FOP Lodge last week was SECRETLY - and we trust without your knowledge - TRANSMITTED by an open cell telephone line to Police Chief Martin at Police headquarters. By the time the officers arrived back at headquarters, Martin knew everything that had been said about him at your meeting. Our source tells us that ROY NIX is the individual who had his cell phone open to Martin's office.
To your credit, you told the police officers that they could speak freely to Dr. Ioumi WITHOUT ANY FEAR OF RETALIATION. They took you at your word and told Dr. Ioumi what they thought of Chief Martin and the situation in the Department. THEY DID NOT REALIZE THAT THE CHIEF WOULD BE VIA CELL PHONE TO WHAT THEY WERE SAYING.
Yesterday, after Martin's resignation, he is reported to have told one of his flunkies that HE WOULD USE THE REMAINING TIME HE HAD AS CHIEF TO GET EVEN WITH THOSE IN THE DEPARTMENT WHO OPPOSED HIM. You must not let this happen!
We ask that you investigate this matter and determine if our source is correct that Nix and Martin secretly conspired for Martin to listen to your meeting without your knowledge. If this is true, we urge you to TERMINATE MARTIN AND NIX IMMEDIATELY!
