JIMMY MARTIN WRECKS CITY CAR IN BIBB COUNTY

Former Police Chief Jimmy Martin has done enough to be fired 10 times! Last weekend, he wrecked the city car (which he is not suppose to be driving) in Bibb County. We are told that he hit a tree (supposedly he hit something in the road causing the accident); however, the worst part of this fiasco is what happened next.
Martin first gave the state trooper a false name and then tried to get the trooper not to give him a ticket. Fortunately, the trooper had more integrity than Martin and did not grant these requests.
WE WANT TO KNOW WHEN RILEY AND MAYOR EVANS ARE GOING TO GET RID OF JIMMY MARTIN! He violates the law by living in Bibb County. Selma's City Code clearly requires all law enforcement officers to live in Dallas County. Why is a sergeant driving a city car to Bibb County on city gas every day? Now he wrecks the car and tries to get the State Trooper not to report the accident!
We know that Martin acted as Perkins' bodyguard for much of Perkins' first term in office and knew where Perkins went and who he went with. We thought that was the reason that Perkins never fired Martin-because Martin knew too much about Perkins. When Martin made up the phony assassination attempt on himself, he should have been fired then.
We are going to assume that Martin is not able to blackmail Chief Riley and Mayor Evans; SO WHY HAVEN'T THEY FIRED HIM? Hardly anyone did MORE TO GET RID OF PERKINS AND ELECT EVANS THAN US; however, we do not understand why Mayor Evans keeps people on the city payroll WHO EMBARRASS HIM AND THE CITY AND WHO ARE NOT LOYAL TO HIM. It is time for some council people to ask Riley and the Mayor why Martin is still working for the SPD!
