Why did the Canadian Steel Plant locate in a small town like Thomasville instead of coming to Selma? Because Thomasville does not have a ROSE SANDERS OR A HATE RADIO 105.3. When are Rose and Hate 105 going to realize they are "shooting Selma in the foot" with their hateful rhetoric and actions? The very people who are unemployed and who need jobs are the ones she and HATE 105 are keeping from getting jobs. Will she ever learn?
Why does Meadowview Christian School employ someone like Robert Bortello as a teacher? Aren't they aware that he is a member of the House of God cult? Don't they have some concern about his sexual orientation? He sure wouldn't be teaching at our school or around our children!

We have been informed by a Board Member of Meadowview Christian School that Mr. Robert Bortello was not rehired for this school year. We are happy to hear this. We were also informed that he recently married a fellow cult member of the House of God.
While former Mayor Perkins as a politician certainly embraced and accepted Mark Duke and the cult's support, he has now fully embraced Duke's teachings as have Ezekiel Pettway and Ronald Smith. We suspect that Perkins the Preacher is trying to steer a middle course toward Duke and Duke's false teaching because Perkins believes what the Bible says about Jesus, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and THE WORD WAS GOD.....and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us...." The Word in the passage is clearly Jesus who is and was God and became man and remains both God and man, one person is two distinct natures forever. That truth Duke and the cult deny.
We do not think Perkins believes that and doesn't want any news in the black community that he does not believe in the Jesus of the Bible. On the other hand, Pettway and Smith seem to be blind to what Mark Duke and his cult followers believe because they say they see the fruits of what cult members do in the community. What they seem to be ignorant of is that anyone, Christians or not, can do works which we call "good". Anyone can and should feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the infirm. That does not make them Christians. It is the "truth" which makes people free from bondage. Pettway and Smith have become followers of a false teacher, Mark Duke.
Is there anyone in Selma more ignorant than the defeated and disgraced Johnnie Leashore? His ignorance is exceeded only by his stupidity. The local Army recruiter wants to do something for the community by bringing in men to help clean up the city. Mayor Evans made it clear that the arrival of the soldiers had nothing to do with martial law; yet, that idiot Leashore took it upon himself to go to the Mall and harass the recruiter about martial law. We hope the soldiers will come and help clean up the city.
We think Council President Cecil Williamson has handled the Rose Sanders disruptions of city council as well as it could be handled and we especially commend Mayor Evans for his even handed dealing with this situation. We agree that the Citizens Request item at the Council is not the time for Council members to debate with citizens about any issue. It is a time for citizens to present their requests to the Council only. As always, Rosie thinks rules do not apply to her, but she is learning otherwise from this council!!
And we would not be surprised to see the House of God Cult and Freedom Foundation DO THEIR HINDU DANCE on the bridge. After the Department of Transportation had sent a letter to the Mayor saying the DOT was responsible for the bridge closing and THAT THE BRIDGE WOULD NOT BE CLOSED, Hank Sanders called the DOT. They caved in like an old accordion and said Mayor Evans could close the bridge if he wanted to. Now the HINDU promoters are pressuring the Mayor to close the bridge for their ridiculous dance. We urge the Mayor to not give in to this cult!
And finally Hank Sanders!! HE IS THE REASON SELMA HAS ALL OF ITS TROUBLES AND DOES NOT GET INDUSTRY. It is a carefully thought out part of his "sclick" to let Rose be as aweful as she wants to be. Every time she does something stupid and outrageous, Hank, by contrast, looks that much better and saner. BUT HE IS THE PROBLEM HERE. He is the primary owner and registered agent of HATE RADIO 105.3. He gets the money from the taxpayers to finance Rose and her nefarious organizations and activities. He remains silent while his wife is given a free reign to disrupt, boycott, yell, scream and act like a banshee. He is the reason people are leaving town in droves. Yet, he sits like an angel of light on Team Selma trying to get industry. WHAT A FARCE.
