This website, since its beginning, has said that Mayor (King) James Perkins is a conniving, vendictive, controlling, back stabbing person. Some have believed it, some have turned their heads.
Senator Sanders, who this website respects for his tenacity, has openly addressed the problems with this Mayor. The Mayor intentionally requested a Judge from Mobile that he feels would NOT be fair in the trial of his wife, in that this same Judge presided over the case that convicted her child, but through a lawsuit eventually, awarded Rose $310,000.00 for a wrongful conviction.
We are very pleased that someone of importance has addressed the problems we have in Selma.
