First, it was his projects co-coordinator, BRIDGET MILLS, whose house was being foreclosed on. Then it was a house by his Ward 1 candidate, CARVER BOYNTON, being foreclosed on. Then it was Police Officer Evelyn Ghant, who filed the phony charge against Councilman Cain, being foreclosed on. Now, it is Perkins' closest confidant and EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, DARLENE RUDOLPH, whose house on Lawrence Cove in VALLEY GRANDE is being foreclosed on. See the notice which follows this article which appeared in the June 26 edition of the Selma Times-Journal.
We do NOT wish anyone to lose their home through foreclosure. Our point is that these ladies make excellent salaries, so why don't they take care of their legal debts. We especially wonder HOW THEY CAN RUN THE CITY IF THEY CAN NOT HANDLE RUNNING THEIR OWN BUSINESS (home finances).
HOWEVER, THE MAJOR PROBLEM with the Mayor's Executive Assistant, Mrs. Rudolph, is that SHE IS VOTING ILLEGALLY IN THE CITY WHILE LIVING IN VALLEY GRANDE. Consider this, her husband, Gregory, is legally registered to vote and does vote in Valley Grande. He is registered at 85 Lawrence Cove in Valley Grande, where he and Mrs. Rudolph live.
BUT Mrs. Rudolph is NOT registered at 85 Lawrence Cove, where she lives in Valley Grande. NO, she is using her former name, DARLENE HACKETT KING, and address, 212 10th Ave, and VOTES IN SELMA AT QUEEN OF PEACE, WHICH MEANS OF COURSE SHE CAN VOTE FOR PERKINS. WE KNOW that Mrs. Rudolph voted in the June 3rd Democratic Primary and the Bond Issue at Queen of Peace School USING THE NAME DARLENE HACKETT KING. These illegal voting practices must STOP. Eddie and Violet Irvin - NOT DARLENE RUDOLPH - live at 212 10th Avenue.
We are publicly asking Mrs. Rudolph to immediately change her voting place to Valley Grande, where she lives. We are also telling her that if she attempts to vote in Selma on August 26th, her vote WILL BE CHALLENGED. We will check the updated voters list and see if Mrs. Rudolph has done the right thing and changed her voting place.
Neither PERKINS nor anyone else is going to steal this election with ILLEGAL VOTES IF WE CAN HELP IT!
