POLICE CHIEF JIMMY MARTIN MUST BE FIRED FOR THIS BREACH OF SECURITY AND
CONFIDENTIALITY
This website has been given a copy of the
PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL LETTER WHICH FOLLOWS. This letter came from Jimmy Martin's
Selma Police Department and is a major breach of security and confidentiality by
Martin's Police Department.
Background of the letter: Jimmy Martin has consistantly put incompetent people in
positions of authority in the SPD. One of the unqualified people he promoted was Ray
Moore, who was instrumental in making decisions about who the SPD hired and did not
hire.
A young man named Donald Gantt applied to be a policeman. Police Officers tell us that
Gantt passed the Physical Agility and other parts of the exam, but that the idiotic Ray
Moore wrote a letter telling Gantt he was NOT being hired because he had a disability.
Anyone with walking around sense knows not to put THAT as a reason for not hiring
someone - especially after they PASSED the Agility Test.
Gantt then filed an EEOC Complaint alleging discrimination against the SPD because of
Moore's letter; which can only be characterized as stupidity. THE EEOC SIDED WITH GANTT.
It now looks like Selma will be sued and will surely lose another large amount of money
because of Martin, Moore, and the SPD. (As for Moore, he has been taken care of by
Perkins who got his buddy James Mitchell at Wallace College to hire Moore as Police
Chief for the College)
The letter which follows is from the City's Attorneys to the City's insurance carrier.
Note the underlined part of the letter. Even the City's Attorneys know the City has done
wrong and is fixing to pay mega bucks for the actions of Martin, Moore, and the
SPD.
Worst of all, this is suppose to be a confidential letter with a copy to Martin, which
he has permitted to be leaked to this website. How much longer, Mayor Perkins, will you
put up with YOUR incompetent Police Chief? How much more money will he cost the City
before you do something?
