We extend our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Geraldine Allen.
HOW SHAMEFUL........THAT while Dr. Allen lay dying, Johnnie Leashore and Franklin Fortier were on HATE RADIO 105.3 accusing her of not attending City Council meetings so that she would not have to vote on the Bush Hog street closing. These two have no respect for anyone. If there is such a thing as "low life", this was an example of it. Leashore and Fortier have no shame. WHY DOES ROSE SANDERS ALLOW SUCH hate on her radio station? Is it because she is also a HATER and DIVIDER??
We need to refresh everyone's memory of what an "outstanding" person Johnnie Leashore is, who falsely smeared the good name of Dr. Allen: Leashore was:
1. Arrested for firing into the house of his girl friend, while he was married
2. Fired from his job with the Community Action Agency
3. Suggested that a councilman should be taken out in the woods and "shot in the head"
4. Given a ticket and fined for driving 103 miles per hour in his pajamas through the streets of Selma
5. Stole almost $40,000 from the people of Selma by taking a salary at the waterworks he did not have the right to take according to the State Ethics Commission
6. Allegedly forged the name of two witnesses of the will of his deceased brother so he could beat his brother, Calvin, out of Calvin's share of the inheritance.
WHAT A GUY TO BE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT Dr. Allen in such a derogatory manner, SHAME on him and the Chicago import, Fortier!
THAT the Dallas County Democrat Committee has such a stellar group of citizens to run for election on June 1. First, we have two CULT MEMBERS from the House of God cult running for the committee. These are Jason and Rebecca Armstrong. Second, we have Collins and Synethia Pettaway, married, but giving two different addresses. Does Synethia really live in the city and Collins really live in the county, as they state on their candidacy forms? What a farce! And then we have Johnnie Leashore, the sore loser who couldn't even get elected from Ward 6, running for the committee. WHAT A GROUP OF LOSERS directing to the Democrat Party in Dallas County!
THAT the members of the Selma Housing Authority will not talk to their employees about the situation at the Authority. Employees are NOT going to the Board Members, but will talk if Board Members approach them.
