See the following job posting from City Hall. We are requesting that some individuals who actually are qualified for the position go to the Personnel Office in City Hall and fill out an application for this position this week.
This $40,000 position was filled by Perkins campaign worker Amos Moore who did little more than sit at his computer most days looking at who knows what. In order for Moore to be able to "legally" work in the Perkins re-election campaign, he had to be off of the City Payroll. Perkins took care of that by finding him another $40,000 a year or more job in the "local housing industry" with former Concordia President and Perkins supporter, Julius Jenkins. What Jenkins and Moore will actually be doing is anyone's guess. If you know, please let us know or we invite Jenkins and Moore to email us and tell us what they are doing and we will gladly post their email.
Why do we need a Director of Community Development (Charlotte Griffeth at $60,000) and a Coordinator for Community Development at $40,000 a year?
Perkins and his sneaky Personnel Director Val "I'll have the personnel manual ready by August, no by the end of December, no, by the end of May" Jones already know which flunky they will hire for Moore's position, but we encourage some really qualified people to go to City Hall and apply for the job. Or if you are NOT qualified, go and apply anyway because looking at most of the people who work in City Hall, those are the kind of people Jones and Perkins hire.
