WHOEVER LEAKED THIS LETTER SHOULD BE FIRED AND POLICE CHIEF MARTIN SHOULD BE FIRED FOR PERMITTING IT TO BE LEAKED!
This website has received ANOTHER email. The SECOND letter leaked by Martin's Police Department follows. These breaches of security and confidentiality by Martin and his department are jeopardizing the City's legal position and will cost Selma taxpayers thousands of dollars. WILL MAYOR PERKINS EVER DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIRE MARTIN?
BACKGROUND: The letter which follows is from the City's attorney retained by the City's insurance company to the insurance company. It is about a hearing by the EEOC on the City's refusal to hire Donald Gantt as a policeman.
This EEOC Mediation is necessary because an INEPT JIMMY MARTIN LET AN INCOMPETENT RAY MOORE have a say in who was hired by the SPD. Anyone with walking around sense knows that Moore had the job only because he was a flunky of Martin. Moore had no training for the position and demonstrated his ignorance of the law when he wrote Gantt that Gantt was not being hired because Gantt had a DISABILITY - EVEN THOUGH GANTT HAD PASSED THE DEPARTMENT'S PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST! Even someone as uninformed as Moore should have known that such a letter was in clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). (The City has taken good care of Moore, despite his stupidity, by having him selected by Perkins buddy, James Mitchell, to be Police Chief at Wallace College - a cesspool of cronyism and nepotism)
WORST OF ALL, Martin keeps letting information from his office and the Selma Police Department be emailed, and leaked all over the world. Apparently Martin is incapable of stopping these leaks in his office and he is certainly incapable of leading a police department.
