I am Canadian from Iranian descent. My Persian parents Mohammad Reza and Badri were cousins. I was born on 12.12.1933 in Karbala. Although I was raised in religious cities and in a family of Ayatollahs I am not religious minded AT ALL. To me different religions are like colorful candles. The light is the same in all of them but the color of candles differ. Fighting over religious beliefs is fighting over colors. It is simply silly.
I learnt English at the British Council in Iran. I have a degree in Law from Tehran University. From 1955 till 1980 , I was a career diplomat. In 1979 when I was posted in Paris as Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Iran
