I like to do many things. I like to cook, read and decorate!
I like to be with people that are important to me. I do my best to make time for
my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, whether near or far. Sometimes, I
just like to watch TV. I like going to the movies ~ who like's previews?!!
Going out for dinner and a play is always a great time too. I guess you
could say I just like to enjoy life and have fun. In my spare time ~ ha ha ha ~ I am
scrap booking! This is
truly a lot of work. I can't go into details, you never know who's reading
this that might be getting one!!!! But it is fun, a bit expensive, and does
gives you something to do on a rainy day. By the way....I LOVE THE HOBBY
LOBBY!!!
 | FAMILY - Being a mother of two wonderful children is very rewarding.
My daughter Jackie is engaged to be married next year on August 14, 2004.
Her and Tom are living in Arlington Heights. Jackie is a designer at GHK in
downtown Chicago. She is a space planner and is very talented. Jackie is a
beautiful woman. She is generous and thoughtful and will give you the world
if it was within her power. I could not be more proud of her. She has
terrific relationships with the people in her life. She is someone I
like to consider a 'friend'. I love spending time with her, though it
is not often. Tom is a police officer in Northbrook.
He was sworn in on May 1, 2003. I, personally, am so proud of him! This
dream of his has been a long and treacherous journey. |
My son Rick is going to be a
senior this year at University of Denver. Now here's a guy that every woman
could only wish for in a son. I cannot believe how blessed I am to have such a
great son. He believes in good health and good being. He is an
excellent student. He is thriving socially, scholastically and personally
far beyond expectations. Rick is someone that his friends respect and he has
become a strong core at his school. I sure do miss him when he is away, but
when I do have the chance to visit with him, the time is very appreciated.
My parents are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on
October 17, 2003. My brothers and I are planning a surprise dinner for the
immediate family at an Italian restaurant. I am making bookmarkers for keepsake
favors. I am frantically working on a quilt as their gift. It will have
twelve pictures of them spanning the last fifty years.
| FRIENDS - I belong to a group of eight wonderful
women. Every December for the last 8 years, we have a get
together. We laugh, take pictures, eat, and overall have just a great
time. The time I am able to share with my friends is something I look
forward to every year. My circle of friends brings out seven qualities
of me. If you were to take a bit of each of them, you would have
me!!!! I don't know where I would be today if these seven wonderful
women were not a part of my life. |
| TRAVEL - I have found the travel bug! Love to get away.
Whether for the day or a weekend or a vacation. Let me know when and
where and I'm all over it! In December 2002, I vacationed with my
children. We sailed to the Western Caribbean on our first cruise aboard the Royal
Caribbean's Nordic Empress. A few days were rough, but it was the among
the best vacations I had ever been on. I enjoyed it so much that my
friend, Susie
and I are cruising this December 2003, to the Eastern Caribbean aboard
one of Royal Caribbean's largest ships, the Explorer of the Seas. I
don't have to tell you how excited I am to be planning this cruise....call
me

| HEALTH - Most recently I have discovered a new lifestyle. I
have begun a healthy weight loss plan that has improved my well being
and my outlook on health in general. It's unbelievable how I am losing
pounds and inches. Through this plan I have also
made some special friends through the internet and they have become my strength
and my guidance. I enjoy their e-mails with their diet updates and am
very comfortable getting to know them. I am truly happy to have met
them!
