The day finally arrived for both Keitaro and Naru to take their university examinations; unfortunately they went to the wrong high school to take their examinations. They should have gone to Komaba High School.

Keitaro lost his examination pass on the way. He bumped onto a girl with a pet turtle, and she became unconscious. For a moment Keitaro thought she was died. Keitaro also got chased by a van which then met with an accident. An injured man left the van and returns the examination pass to Keitaro.

Fortunately, both of them made it to the examination hall just in time to take their examinations.

Some time after, they returned to check their results. They both fail to enter Tokyo University. Keitaro tells Naru about their promise 15 years before. However, Naru denies with the reason that she can’t possibly made such a promise at the age of 2 (Naru is 17 that year by the way).

On May 05, they decided to travel individually to Kyoto to forget each other and the examinations. They board the same plane and bump into each other, setting their precious spectacles flying to the ground. Keitaro then sat on them accidentally, breaking both glass.

Without their glass, they did not know each other. Both of them enjoy each other’s company. They travel around Kyoto. Keitaro took his first Purikura with a girl – Naru.

They also got they spectacles made and see each other for the first time. Not very pleasant, as expected.
