JaLBe v 1.32 Overview - Written by SteM

"The version I posted was an experiment for me..."
Quotes are from Dennis McKinney, the author of JaLBe

...an experiment which worked. JaLBe has proven to be popular with a lot of LB users since it was announced at the forums. Being a code editor there would have to be features there which users would find useful and perhaps even prefer compared to other editors. I got a copy of the program, and I give you an exclusive overview here at UltrA...

Nice features of JaLBe:

The first feature I liked about JaLBe was the code, all coloured like LB and a useful pop-up appears when you hold the cursor over a command, telling you about that command. I also liked the numbers to the left of the window which make it easy to see what line you're at and the yellow highlight which makes it nice and visible to see what line you are on.

While typing you can access a drop down menu that gives you commands that you may want to insert to save time. Lots of little, useful ideas which really help when typing your code.

You can see from the picture other features which are available such as 'DLL Project'. You can customize colours of the code editor in 'Setup' menu, too.

"..one thing I would want people to know is that it is based on Scintilla Demo by Mitchell Kotler, WMLiberty by Brent Thorn, and contains a lot of code that was posted in the various LB groups by several very talented people."
