- The Contest will take place on a regulation field in all aspects, except for the people involved be it Pilgrims or dirty savages
- The length of the contest will consist of four (4) 15 minute quarters- running time
-Each team will be alotted three (3) timeouts per half, except for the savages as they cannot count and must be swindled
- The conventions and mores of tackle football shall be followed, with respect to the Queensbury Rules as established circa 1366 by the Hon. Duke of Queensbury
-High School tackle rules as applicable, if a knee hits the ground, you are deemed down
-Kickoffs are touch contact
-Punts are "fair catch," rules, whereas the ball cannot be advanced but can be fumbled, thus mandating coverage
- The point tallying system will follow the conventions of modern football, where kicking must ensue after a touchdown, whereas field goals are worth 3 points and so forth
- Receptions about the sideline area will be judged according to High School/College Rules
-1 foot in bounds is deemed a successful try for completion
- First downs are achieved chiefly by three (3) completions but also by gaining access to and passing through three (3) successive first down zones
-30 yd. line- 50 yd. line- 30 yd. line
- The Three (3) Mississippi rule will be in effect for each successive play, there will be no blitzing with the exception of punts
-Each team must have at least one down lineman, that being the center
-Any number of linemen beyond the center are not mandatory but would indeed be effective, accordingly all linemen on the field are deemed eligible to receive passes
- Cleats are not only legal, but come highly recommended, lest you should slip and fall on your ass
- Any further queries shall be taken up with the local governing magistrate upon the start of the match that day
