Old Fashioned Map Posting

Having an interesting History page or Gen Mail post is easily achieved with the use of basic HTML:

Centering: <center>text</center>

Bold Text: <b>text</b>

Underline Text: <u>text</u>

Italicize Text: <i>text</i>

Links: <a href="url you want your link too">text</a>

<a href="url you want your link too" target="_blank">text</a>

Music: <bgsound src="url of midi or music" loop="# of times you want to music to repeat">
-How to find a music url- Find a web site with free midis. Where you click to play the music, is a link. Right click with your mouse and Copy Shortcut. Then open a notepad, right click with your mouse again, and Paste. This url is the url to the music.

Picture: <img src="url of picture">
-How to find a picture url- Find a picture that you like. Right click on it and save to favorites(you should be able to change the name of it, and create a folwer to put pictures in.) Go to favorites (at top of browser window) and select the picture. The url will be the url to the picture. Also if you right click on a pic, then select properties and c/p the URL.

Color: <font color=######>text</font>

Small Text: <h6> text </h6>

Large Text: <h1> text </h1>

Other Text Sizes: <font size=+ or - # between 1 and 6> text </font>

To write chains of coding:


Example #1-
<b><u><center>Sm Basics rocks my world</center></u></b>
*Note how the order of the tags are in accordance to their adjacent counterpart (example- the counterpart to <b> is </b>).


Example #2-
<u><center><b>SM Basics rocks my world.</b></center></u>
*Note how the codes are the same individually, and would produce the same results as Example #1, but they are in a different order. Yet the counterparts to each code is adjacent.
