Link is the hero of the Zelda games. He is one of the most popular Nintendo characters. And with flowing blond hair, ice arrows, a sword, sheild, and bombs, it's no wonder why people like him. Or maybe it's just me. Anyways, in SSBM, he uses this arsenal of weapons to keep up in long-range battles and is the only character that can block long-ranged attacks with his shield while standing still. Link, in my opinion, is the ultimate beginner's character, and can be good for experts as well.
