Tragus
The tragus is the little flap of skin and cartilage that is situated at the entrance of your ear canal.
Not everyone has a tragus suited to get pierced.
An ear ring sleeper and studs are not appropriate for the tragus. A specialised ring is usually worn instead.
Healing time will take up to 3 months, depending on how well you take care of it, but on occasions has taken up to a year to properly heal.
Once again, as the tragus contains cartilage, an earlobe piercing gun is not suitable to pierce this area of the body. A sterilised needle is usually used, which I’ve heard can be quite painful and hard to push through. Oh, and it bleeds a lot.
