"Well...here goes..." Kabana jumped down the hole and started sliding down. he seemed to never stop. His head was spinning. He couldn't think, he couldn't see, he couldn't do anything but helplessly slide down this endless tunnel of death. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally reached the botom with a loud thud and the sounds of footsteps in front of him. He followed them, hoping they were the footsteps of his friend. He continued persuing until he got into a lit chamber. "So...this is the light he was talking about...but what did he want to show me?"
"Behold Kabana," Detores said, "this is what I have to show you..."
"Detores...why are you doing this? What reason do you have to possibly kill me?!"
"I had no intention of killing you...but the end is near...our race will die out and there is nothing we can do to stop it. For you see...this is a volcano...and it will erupt with such force as to destroy us all."
Kabana finally noticed that is was exceptionally hot in the chamber he was in. "Detores, our way of life has been undisturbed for centuries. What makes you think it will end right now?"
"Kabana! You don't understand...come nightfall tonight the volcano will erupt...nothing can stop it. Now it is almost time...I bid you farewell Kabana." And with that he left through a tunnel which was closed shortly by ralling rocks. Kabana noticed it was starting to get hotter in the chamber, and that the ground seemed exceptionally warm. The ground started shaking...he knew it was erupting...
"So this is why Detores didn't want night to fall while we were in here. Well...time to find a way out." Kabana looked, he couldn't see any way out yet...but he remembered...the slide thing...he looked and saw it. He wondered if he would be able to get back up...
