Created with the intentions of showing off his vocal prowess, the largely acapella album, released during the holiday season of America's Bicentennial, was yet another example of the group's love of reinvention. While the critics and the fans didn't complain, this caused a bit of a conflict within the band, as Kit Venom felt he was being kicked out of the band he started. Again, the rift only caused an inflated amount of album sales, and the record soon went platinum, giving the band it's first such honor.
