SESSIONS OF PAIN: THE DOCTOR IS IN

"Sessions" marked the first time since their US Debut in 1968 that the duo released an album on American soil. This reaffirmed that, in fact, the doctor was "in" as the disc's intimate, "fresh out of the studio" sound showed the softer side of the band, and allowed for some insight as to how the gears worked at Pennypacker & Co. Track 4, "The Penny Pack", was only a mild hit, but it sparked the imagination of Cameron Crowe (Rolling Stone Magazine) enough to dub the growing fan nation the same name.
