The group took some time off in 1977 after Eugene got hooked on bee juice and powdered electricity. After a somewhat lengthy battle to expunge the demons in his head, the habit was kicked. Doc's short-lived marriage to long time lover Bea Arthur set the band's reunion album back a year or so, but once the two got back into Mussel Shoals, nothing less than magic filled the air. They were back and better than some of their weaker moments earlier. The album, like all DP albums do, barely got to know the sales rack, and the disc was nominated for two Daytime Grammy Award later on that year, narrowly beaten out by Falco.
