Although the album pledges it's allegiance to England and her surrounding countries, some controvesy over the real intent of the album has been wildly speculated. Released only in England (Americans took insult to the Britain-only geared theme (half of the band was American, many critics noted), some wondered if this was, in fact a hidden bashing of Her Majesty's land. As rumors swirled in the air and tabloids had their day in the sun, the album enjoyed a great deal of publicity which sold albums, but the lack of meat gave the listener an empty belly. Regarded as one of the worst albums of all time by Billboard, MTV, and VH1.
