Animation

Animation is used in two ways, computer animation and T.V. cartoons.

Computer Animatior

Computer Animation is manly used for movies to make them look good so people don't just get up and walk away from the movie theater being bored to death. After a scene is shot then the "computer guy" uses his or her computer to add in any necisary eliments that the set and camera could not produce or capture. The changes in the scene can be a variety of things, speacail efects, change in speed, ext.

Animator

Animators (or motion-Cartoonists) work like cartoonists exept its a little bit difrent. Animators draw the same pictures over and over, making on just a little bit difrent from the other. When these pictures are photographed and then played in the corect order they apear to be moving. If you ask me that would get kind of anouying to draw the same picture over and over.

Artists

Artists use canvasis or peaices of paper and paint or draw objects, memorys, or ideas that come to mind. They epress this in many ways by using a variety of shapes and collors. Many artists paint or draw objects or senery of nature, humans, animals, or wax figures. Others just paint whatever comes to mind. There is a very large varity of artists and it is up to each indevidual artist to deside for themselfs on what to paint or draw. Taking objects and or ideas and turning them into pictures.

Cartoonist

A cartoonist is sort of like an animator but the pictures arn't always done like an animator. Cartoonist translate ideas into pictures to comunicate to an aduance. Some times these ideas are ment to be funny such as in comic strips but other times they are ment to carry political or socail messages, the kind you would find in a newspaper or editorial. Cartoonist draw single pictures or a strip with sevrel frames. Some Cartoonist work entierly on their own. Other times theycollaborate with writers on ideas. Most cartoonists start by making comics for shcool papers.
