Pete Not Cooking, Mom Is
--After coming up with the idea to cook his food for 
his weekly lunches, Pete let his mom do much of the 
work on the actual food today. "She's actually 
finishing up the Spanish rice as I type," writes Pete. 
"I'm going to go see if there's anything I can put 
away." The last meal Pete and his mother cooked was 
Spaghetti Pie, for which Pete's mom also bought all the
ingredients.

--I wish I could've been there though, omigod. Oh. Huh.
Uh-huh. Yeah, no I remember that yeah. It's really 
good, yeah. Yeah. Hahaha. Haha. Yup, I remember that. 
Hehehe. Wow, that's hard to do. Nice. Omigod, I'm 
borrowing Emily's superstar sweatshirt. I want one. 
Just to wear. She's gonna bring it tomorrow. No, I 
wanna borrow it, just for school. Oh, I would kill for 
one of those.

Timmy K. to be Marshalled
--Berkeley college student and star water polo player 
Timothy K. will face a tough crowd when -- and if -- he
graduates, Pete says. "I had lunch with his mom the 
other day," said Micek, "and she mentioned Tim wanted 
to come home and paint once he finished school." But 
Mrs. K liked a different option: to make him work and 
pursue his painting during his free time, Pete said.
