History

Chessington World of Adventures in the past has had old rides. Look below, to find information about the old rides at Chessington World of Adventures.

1987
Magic Carpet, Safari Skyway, Smugglers Galleon, Circus World, Dragon Falls, Runaway Mine Train, Old Crocks and Fifth Dimension was built at Chessington.

1990
Vampire and Professor Burps Bubbleworks was built

1993
Rodeo was in the park and Flying Jumbos and the Clowns Coaster was moved.

1994
5th Dimension was removed and replaced with Terror Tomb and the zone was called Foridden Kingdom. Also Seastorm was opened in Sumgglers Cove.

1995
Rameses Revenge came to Chessington.

1996
A new cirucs was put in the park, called the 'Big City Circus'.

1997
The Old Railway closed and the Action Man Critical Mission opened.

1998
Rattlesnake was built and Creepy caves replaced Reptile House, McDonalds restaurant opened so did KFC and Pizza Hut.

1999
Magic Carpet was replaced with Samurai, Dragon River was renamed as Dragon Falls and Smugglors Galleon was renamed as Black Buccaneer. The Circus has closed, Vampire got a new logo and the Creepy caves was improved.

2000
Beanoland opened with Billy's Whizzer, Roger the Dodger's Dodgems, Terror Tomb was renamed as Forbidden Tomb. Action Man Critical Mission got a new logo and name and Rameses Revnge received a new logo.

2001
Vampire was closed for new seats, Trail of the Kings was made in Animal Land. The Clown Coaster was replaced with Berry Bouncers, also Old Crocks was renamed as Toadie's Crazy Cars, Beanoland opened Bash Street Bus and the Adventure House closed.

2002
Dennis' Madhouse opened in Beanoland, Terror Tomb was renamed as Tomb Blaster and received new trains and guns, Vampire finally reopned with new floorless seats.

2003
The Burnt Stub Mansion was replaced with Hocus Pocus Hall, and Action Man Training HQ closed, also Dragon Falls and Vampire received Fast Track.

2004
The Adventure House and Action Man Training HQ was taken away for the Land of the Dragons. Also, Samurai left Mystic East and was moved to Thorpe Park with a new colour.

2005
Peeking Heights which was removed from Thorpe Park (knwon as Eclipse then) and was then put into Mystic East, and Rodeo sadly left Mexicana.
