I have decided that a 1.1 ford fiesta is the best option for the base car, as it is cheap to buy, the insurance will be fairly cheap 'cos its only a 1.1, and there are loads of spares that are cheap and will make it look wicked!!! This first pic is just a computer generated image of what it will look like based on what parts i want to use. It will have a full xr2i recaro interior and bodykit, and 15" wheels from the 3dr sierra cosworth. I will then debadge the bonnet (i might possibly buy an rs turbo bonnet as it has the vents, depending on its price!) and smooth out the factory swage lines to give the early 90's front end some style. The reason that i have chosen to go for all standard ford parts is purely for the fact that they are quite a bit cheaper than any of the new stuff on the market (ie the wheels £200 a set and they are from a cossie) and also there is the bonus of them being guaranteed to fit as they have already come from a ford. I will also fit a 4" big bore exhaust so that the engine makes a nice roar (haha!!) to make up for the gayness of its size due to insurance :)
