This map is a masterpiece of map design, beautiful curves and architecture, and very unique in its structure. It feels impossible to compare this map to any other I have played before. For a start this isn't a map of rooms, for it only contains one big area, which doesn't feel like a central area though, probably because you have to 'access' this room, rather than access other areas from it.. but perhaps it could be that this area is located to one side of the map.
This large open area is accessed like I said, from 3 different locations. One is a teleporter which works both ways, one is a wind chute (incredibly fast, fun chute) and the other is a wide arched corridor at the lower part of this open area. What is important about this area however, is what it contains. A good deal of cell and rocket ammo lies bunched together with the megahealth, a yellow armor hovers next to the teleport and a rocket launcher lies dangerously beneath a staircase.
The rest of the map is actually structured around connectivity, and is made up of wide corridors (almost rwild size) and 4 spiralling staircases. The number of staircases confuses at first, but adds a great element of vertical play, as some staircases are open sided, meaning fights can continue between a player going up a staircase, and a player at the bottom.
At the top of 2 of these staircases is an open roof style outdoor area, containing shaft, grenade launcher and the RA, of which the RA overlooks 2 levels below it, but not exposing the bottom level very much. Grenades can still be spammed to the bottom though, where the second rocket launcher is located. A2 seems best suites for FFA or teamgames, since the map is a little too big for duel.. then again perhaps at a higher level of play the map would be a great duel map. A certainly a refreshing change and I certainly hope that it eventually gets converted to DMC.
This is the large open area. The teleport can be seen at the end of the staircase (although it appears black in this screenshot) with the YA next to it. Megahealth and ammo can be seen at the far end. The wind chute blasts players from the left of this shot, and the lower corridor can be seen in all its curvy sexiness.

One of four staircases, this one leading to the opentop roof area where the RA can be seen from below. As you can see from this screenshot, there is a floor lower than shown, but which can't be seen very clearly from the RA.

The quad, the curved corridor to the left leads to rocket launcher 2, at the very end of the long arched corridor in the background is the wind chute, and the corridor going to the right is the other staircase leading to the open roof.

The open roof with no sky enabled.
