My Ultimate Frisbee Page
Man's best friend has been trying to tell us for years that there is no better way to spend your time and energy than by chasing plastic. This page is dedicated to the greatest game ever played.

My first experience with the great sport of ultimate: I played for the mighty Texas Tech Russian Club intramural team "Oprichnina." We managed to win free "Intramural Champions" T-shirts, woohoo! |
| While studying at Texas Tech, I played a little with Lubbock's mixed club team, "Hyzer Soze." We got to the Southwest Regionals the year I played. |

While studying in
Russia during the summer of 2004, I got a chance to pick up in a beach
ultimate tournament in Nizhniy Novgorod. Beach ultimate is hard. Beach
ultimate while trying to speak Russian was even harder. But, the people
were fun and I had a good time anyway. Pictures from the "Plazhnii Ekstaz" tourney in Nizhnii Novgorod |
| Living in St. Petersburg, Russia for the summer of 2005, I picked up with the ultimate players from Piter. We played some great pick up on Yelagin Ostrov and at a nearby beach. |

My first year at the University of Washington, I played for the college women's team "Element." Great girls. Miranda Roth as our coach. Rain. Shiny purple shorts. No stupid boys to look us off. It doesn't get any better than this. |
| And for the summer
of 2006, the women's club team from the Seattle area called "NO
Ultimate." Noodle Olympics. No boys. No core workouts. No sprint
workouts. I play NO Ultimate. Hell no.
*NO is not actually affiliated with Pastafarianism, although that'd be freakin' sweet.. |
