Rabbit

Small, horribly-mutated mammals that are indigenous to the Planet Dezolis in the Algo Star System. The noxious gases that have polluted the planet's atmosphere have altered the genetic structure of these unfortunate creatures beyond repair.

ABILITIES:
More disturbing than the animal's deteriorating physical appearance is the fact that its mutated intestines have somehow acquired a rudimentary sentience of their own and can extend outwards, from the open abdominal cavity, to strike at anything the rabbit perceives as a potential threat. These mammals are excellent short-distance sprinters and have very sharp eyes, ears, and noses (assuming the necessary organs/limbs are functional and present that is, which they often aren't). Although often compromised by open sores, a rabbit's thick fur protects it from the cold climate of Dezolis.

WEAKNESSES:
The rabbits' contaminated bodies are constantly ravaged by various cancers and other maladies which shorten their already brief life spans - however, their legendary rate of reproduction generally compensates for this high mortality. Rabbits are the weakest of the three related species found on Dezolis (Rabbita and Rabitgut are hardier/more powerful).

Materials:
Paper toweling, newsprint, white glue, a broom bristle, and paint.

Dimensions:
9.9 cm/3.9 in x 11.5 cm/4.5 in.. (widest point x highest point)

Time:
Two days; January 31 and February 1, 2005
