The tragic end result of a scheme by Megatron to destroy the Autobot's Ark that went horribly wrong. Megatron, from his fortress on Cybertron, had explosives planted upon the Ark, but Ratchet, his prisoner, was able to transport the explosives back to Megatron's lair just before they detonated, demolishing the structure and everything in it. Both Megatron and Ratchet were assumed to be atomized by the blast, but in actuality, the initial explosion blew both Transformers into the still functioning portal between the Ark and Cybertron. Unfortunately, the delicate trans-dimensional spaceway shut down from the shockwaves created by the blast, trapping Megatron and Ratchet in limbo before they could reappear aboard the Ark. Nightbeat, at Optimus Prime's request, looked into the possibility that Ratchet had survived the explosion, creating a device that could scour the un-space between dimensions for Ratchet's unique mechanical signature. The experiment was successful, but no one could have forseen the abomination it would bring back...

My Megatron Ratchet Fusion figure is based on the art and events of the Marvel Transformers comic book series.

Materials:
Cardboard, white paper, white glue, hot glue, electrical wire, parts from an old Sega Saturn, ink, marker, pencil, beads, and paint.

22.2 cm/8.7 in. x 15.8 cm/6.2 in.(highest point x widest point)

Time:
Unknown; this figure's creation occured before I started keeping thorough records of my work (which means it was made sometime prior to May 30, 2004).
