A horrific "boss" creature from KSS' 1995 Majyuuou (translation: "King of Demons") Super Famicom video game. She attacks by vomiting forth projectiles, three at a time, and the lower head can also strike out with its long, violet tongue. The Harpy's body has become too massive to allow true flight, but flapping her wings can still provide additional height, and/or slow her descent, during leaps. She is but one of many fiends the protagonist of Majyuuou, Abel, will have to defeat if he hopes to rescue his daughter, Iria, from the clutches of Lucifer in Hell.

Newsprint, tissue paper, white glue, hot glue, wire twist ties, human hair (mine), and acrylic paint.

(*The dimensions given for this figure are approximations, as the height/width can vary considerably, depending on how the joints are positioned.)

For comparison purposes, below is (1) a hopping Harpy, composed of sprite frames from the Majyuuou video game that I put together into an animation, and (2) a still shot of the Harpy demonstrating her tongue attack.
