Pierobot/Gear Clown

One of Metal Man's underlings from Mega Man 2. When they spot an intruder, these jesters leap down from above onto one of the many giant gears that make up much of the interior of Metal Man's factory. Next, the Gear Clown runs across the gear's teeth, which unscrews it from its moorings and causes it to roll free. The mischievous robot then rides its improvised mount towards its target in an attempt to crush it.

The gears that the clowns ride upon are made out of solid steel and can absorb a fair amount of punishment before disintegrating, but the little mechanoids themselves aren't nearly as resilient. Unfortunately, even if the Gear Clown is blasted to bits, the gear keeps rolling.
