 The Forgotten One

Demonic airborne skulls found in Activision/Nerve Software/id Software's 2005 DOOM 3 expansion pack, Resurrection of Evil. Said title was released on both the PC (Windows and Linux operating systems) and Xbox. Despite the new name, The Forgotten One is an updated version of the classic Lost Soul enemy that appeared in prior DOOM games (DOOM 3 does have Lost Souls, but id Software chose to redesign them as cyborg constructs, rather than the more familiar, and popular, flaming horned skull).

The Forgotten Ones are easily dispatched (they only have 20 health, and the Grabber weapon--which doesn't use up any of your ammunition--works especially well), but can prove troublesome if encountered in large numbers. They attack by either biting (8 damage) or with a flying charge (10 damage).

Materials:
Newsprint, tissue paper, white glue, and acrylic paint.

Dimensions:
2.9 cm/1.1 in. x 2.6 cm/1.0 in. (widest point x highest point)
(Without the flame attachment, the skull's height is 1.7 cm/0.7 in.)

Time:
I started sculpting this figure in the evening on July 23, 2009 and finished painting it early the following morning on the 24th.
