Enemy Battle Sprite Bestiary
I digitally colored and enlarged (400%) all of the sprites found on this page. Makaitoushi Sa·Ga (Demon World Tower Sa·Ga)/The Final Fantasy Legend was developed for the original Nintendo Gameboy in 1989/1990, as such, it had black and white graphics (four shades of gray).
A list of all the enemies that correspond to a sprite will pop up when you hover your mouse arrow over any creature. The English Final Fantasy Legend name is given first, followed by the original Makaitoushi Sa·Ga Japanese name in parenthesis. I obtained most of the Japanese enemy monikers from Gouki of Borg's excellent Final Fantasy Legend Translation Differences document, which can be found at GameFAQs.
