The new countertops....
Trying to figure out a pattern for the backsplash
The first attempt at laying tile....
The little pull out thing under the sink (although we're still working on the plumbing).
Now, we're getting somewhere! We got the tile done, except for the wall we have yet to build, and the grout, and started on the shelves above the sink.
Got some paint on the walls, and the microwave up...
Possible hardware we may add....
Sept. 2, 2004....Finally, back to work; got the soap dispenser in, outlet covers on, the tile finished, another coat of varnish put on, and started cutting the quarter round and trim.
We still have to finish this wall.....
You can almost see my beta in this one....
Finally got the wall up and painted with a faux finish. We added another layer of caulk between the wall and ceiling, which will have to be repainted...
More work on "the wall".....
Now just need a bit more stain and paint.....
Finished this side of the wall.....
Cut, painted and attached the baseboards.
Finally finished THIS side of the wall... Not bad since I didn't really know what I was doing.....
Only a woman would be using a miter saw to cut trim right next to her roses and other Valentine's decorations, LOL...
Finally, got the trim up (by the ceiling)!!
