Every ranch needs a Trophy Steer. To be a trophy, a steer needs to have exceptional horn shape and length, eye-catching color, and traditional conformation.
This is a great sight to see coming across the pasture! (11/30/17) Wouldn't SKH Watlee look good in your pasture? (9/11/17) |
SKH Watlee
DOB: 3/17/2014 Sire: Lee-Lee 2Dam: Watson 644 Horn Measurements: (on 6/29/18) 82.625" Tip-to-Tip Price: SOLD Wow! Look at the lateral horns on this young steer! SKH Watlee is a very gentle steer that can be petted, and even haltered, in the pasture. He is halter-broke and was shown for a season. He has even been started on saddle-breaking. This steer would be a great choice for a pet - gentle disposition, pretty color and plenty of horn - with lots more horn growth to come as he matures. |

Pinky BCBDOB: 1/17/2005
Sire: Little Ace's Lobo Would you like to own a GRAND CHAMPION steer that's also very gentle? Well, here's your chance. Pinky BCB was the Grand Champion Texas Longhorn steer at the 2007 Houston Livestock Youth Show, the 2007 TLBGCA Youth Show, the 2010 Texas Rice Festival and the 2017 TLBGCA show. Pinky was donated by Brent & Cindy Bolen to the Ark-La-Tex show held in Novmeber, 2005, where Matthew won him. You're probably wondering how a steer got the name "Pinky". In the summer of 2005, Matthew got a pink T-shirt at the Student Life camp he attended with our church's youth group. Later, in October, 2005, Matthew purchased a pink John Deere cap at the State Fair of Texas. He often told people that it took "a real man" to wear pink. When Matthew's name was pulled out of the hat as the recipient of this steer, Donnie Taylor announced, "The next steer goes to ... Pinky." Matthew decided right then that the steer would be named Pinky BCB. Pinky is also very gentle. You can halter him in the pasture and lead him wherever you want to go. Pinky is a great pet and should be living in your pasture! |
