If you are looking for black, you can't get any blacker than this. SKH Black Out is black from tip to tail, and all points in between. She has been halter-broke and is easy to handle. Her first calf is an all-black steer, born 3/9/23.

As you can see in her pedigree, SKH Magic Sandy is all Sanddollar breeding. You can find these same animals in the pedigrees of numerous show champions. This girl doesn't have much horn, but if show pedigree is more important to you than horn pedigree, take a closer look at this young cow. She has a heifer calf at side, born 6/24/23, sired by Winnin' Kid.

If you are looking for black, here's your opportunity. SKH Claire-Voyant broke the tips of both horns when she was very young, but the horns are still growing well and it shouldn't affect her mature looks very much. This young cow is halter-broke and was shown in the TLBAA show circuit by a student from Oak Ridge High School.

SKH Claire-Voyant has had four calves. The first two were sold as a steer and a bull. The third was a heifer calf that we are currently showing. The fourth, shown above, was born on 6/21/23 and should make an excellent steer prospect.

SKH Liberty Belle is a very colorful orange and white cow. She is halter-broke and was shown by Alex Staples from 2018 to 2020. As a result of Alex's daily handling, the cow is super gentle and loves to be petted. If you are looking for a pet, look no further than SKH Liberty Belle. The heifer calf at side is sired by Winnin' Kid. She was born on 3/28/23 (picture on 5/22/23) and we think she may be a show heifer prospect, so we will halter-break her at weaning time.

SKH Emerald Splash is a classy cow. While being shown she was Class Champion or higher 41 times. She has beautiful black & white color, twisty horns and winning conformation; as a result, she is one of our favorite cows.

SVR Carmello is a big cow, much like her dam, Sanddollar Candy. This cow has it all - capacity, power, horns and beauty. We have been pleased with all five of her calves.

SKH Esmeralda is a striking heifer. Her combination of color and conformation catch your attention at first sight. She is pleasure to own and a joy to show. SKH Esmeralda out-produced herself with her first calf, a heifer named SKH Emerald Splash, sired by SKH El Splasho Grande!

SVR Hershey is from the mating of two former show winners - TTT Freightliner and HD Kisses - and she continued the winning tradition for three seasons. SVR Hershey's 2022 heifer calf, SKH Kissed By A Kid sired by Winnin' Kid is currently being shown by Anthony Quinn.

TL Gypsy is a beautiful grulla color, a color you don't come across very often. She is a tall, thick heifer with decent horn growth. TL Gypsy won Reserve Grand Champion at the 2015 TLBAA World Expo. She won Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion at many shows; for a complete listing of her championships, see the SHOW RESULTS page. She's shown here with her favorite exhibitor, Clarice Francis.

TL Gypsy is sired by TL Bulletproof who is currently one of the most sought-after sires for show calves. He produces calves with correct conformation and plenty of size.

TL Gypsy's first calf was a beautiful black and white heifer named SKH Esmeralda, sired by our young champion bull, KH Sumthin' Sumthin'. You can see SKH Esmeralda further up this page. Four of TL Gypsy's seven calves have been black and white, and the other three were grulla and white. Several of her calves have been shown with some degree of success.

TL Gypsy suffered and injury to her udder this year. We are concerned that she will not be able to raise any more calves with her reduced milk production.

HI 5's Call Girl was selected as the 2014 TLBT World Grand Champion Female. She is a beautiful 12-year-old cow with straight lines and plenty of muscle definition. She is moderate framed with moderate horn length, with very balanced proportions.

HI 5's Call Girl produces the gentlest calves. Her calves have proven to be the easiest calves in the herd to show; they seem to enjoy being pets. If you have kids or grandkids that want to get started on the show circuit, you may want to consider purchasing HI 5's Call Girl or one of her offspring. She is shown here by Tierney, one of our college-aged showmen.

Something Else 210 is the 2012 TLBAA World Grand Champion Female. She is the largest heifer that Double H Longhorns ever raised, with lots of depth and thickness, and has developed into a large, broody cow. She is shown here with Tierney, one of our college-aged showmen.

Something Else 210 has a sweet, gentle disposition. She has been shown by kids as young as 2 years old. It would be wonderful to own a herd of cows as gentle as this one.

Something Else 210 was well represented at the 2023 TLBT National Youth Show. She had two 1st generation off-spring in the show, both of which won their classes. One of those went on to win Reserve Jr. Champion Female. She also has two 2nd generation off-spring in the show, with one winning Class Champion and the other placing 2nd in class.

We typically breed for and purchase heifers with the conformation to be competitive in the show ring, but when we came across this heifer as a calf we decided that she had a lot of horn potential and didn't give up too much body size. This cow still has several years of production ahead of her and is priced so that you can get a good start in the Texas Longhorn business.

PC Miss Bonita II is the cow that started it all for Double H Longhorns. We purchased Bonita in August, 1990, from Panther Creek Ranch. Stephen wanted to purchase a unique "Texas" gift for Kim's birthday. Since we are both native Texans and we both graduated from the University of Texas (Hook'em Horns!), it only seemed appropriate that she have her very own UT mascot, an orange and white Texas Longhorn. Little did we know at the time that purchasing this heifer would change our lives so drastically!

Bonita passed away on 11/8/15 at the age of 26 years and 5 months.
