Select the hard drive The hard drive is the computer’s permanent storage. There are two different types of hard drive interfaces to the CPU, the Enhanced Integrated Drive Electronics, EIDE, and Small Computer System Interface, SCSI. The difference is how they are controlled. We recommend at least 40 GB for size. Also consider revolutions per minute and access speed.
