Welcome to the Yellow Rose CWC Blog
Hi everyone, this is a new experiment for the web site and will hopefully become a sort of forum / announcement centre / discussion group for the club. You can let me know what you think by simply using the comment button below. Cheers J.

Thanks Colin,

Its not being used much at all at the moment. ;-) Its still very much an experiment. Should someone with more time care to take it on and provide updates on the club nights and any other topics of interest I'd be delighted to hear from them. Particularly if they are gunfighters, linedancers, etc. I tend to restrict my involvement to the odd partner dance and supporting the bar.

Cheers J.

It was me who said that the yellow rose did not start in 1977 but 1984.

cool Edge, That date was pretty much off the top of my head and based on the recent birthday celebration the club had. If you have further info please let me know? The farthest back I remember the club was when it was hosted up in the old burgh club. I'm sure that was in the 70's. ;-) I'm young enough to be wrong though ;-P

The yellow rose began in what used to be the Golden Pheasant in linwood and was originally called The Gabby Hayes Yellow rose CWC.
1984
