Ultimo Astro grew up in Tijuana, Mexico. At the age of 14, he went pro. His father, Magnífico Astro, trained him. He taught his son the ropes and basically led the way for him. When Ultimo turned 18, his father died while wrestling. He accidentally got killed after getting his feet caught on the ropes going for a plancha. His dying words to Ultimo were Vaya a América, hijo. In translation, meaning Go to America, Son. Which of course, Ultimo obeyed his father and left Mexico for America. He wrestled a few independents until finding GCW. He wrestled there for about a year and a half debuting on January 1st, which is his birthday. Now he is a superstar for SWA teaming up with Fantastico and Havok, known as The Mexican Mafia.
