Ephesians 5:11,13-14a says "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible." Let us not continue to hide our deficiencies behind excuses and long-dated cries of abuse, but expose our OWN cultural shortcomings so that we may get to some viable solutions. We cannot continue to ignore the economic, social, and political digression that plagues the African American community. We all need to know what it means to RESPECT ourselves, and we need a return to the God of Jesus Christ.
