These guys were born to Freedom (violet EbC male) and Cara (Beige VC) on November 29th-November 30th. Cara actually had Quintuplets. The first-born, another ebony, passed away the 30th. It was also the only one born breech. Rotating/supplementing had to be started with these four the day after they were born. While nursing, Cara suffered from bloat but with medication was able to overcome that. When the babies were 2 weeks old, I had to begin solely handraising them as Cara then came down with Pneumonia. Sadly, after first fighting bloat following the delivery..then later pneumonia, Cara passed away two days before Christmas Eve. Her remaining 4 babies are doing well though.

This beautiful baby girl was born 9/14/03 to Aim (Pink White) and Yttel (Hetero Beige), both from Jim Ritterspach. She was the very first kit born here and weighed 60 grams at birth and had almost tripled her weight at 2 weeks old. Sadly, Baby Cakes passed away just shy of 2 months..autopsy results showed she had pneumonia caused by the strep virus.. which we believe she caught from either I or my son. So be very careful if you think anyone may be ill..
