ME!
Okay, about me...where should I start? Good grief, I don't even know! My name is Marci Lauren Boyd, and I live in Texas. I graduated from Memorial High School last May, and started classes at Victoria College in January to become a CPA. I quit my job (a full-time teacher in the 2-year-old room at Faith Academy Daycare), in October and am now working at Division 15 Plumbing--nope, I'm not a plumber, more of a go-fer. I make copies, and file and pretty much whatever else needs to be done, like cleaning out closets. It's a tough job (not!) but somebody has to do it! People
Most of my friends are my best friends. I don't believe you can only have one best friend. That to me is ridiculous. I would rather have lots of close friends!
All my good buddies know who they are, but I'd like to talk about a few of them...(There is NO way I could mention everyone, so I will try to change some of these periodically, but no promises...)
From school, there are Nicole and Stefanie that I would consider my best friends. I have known both of them since the sixth grade. The funny thing is that back then, Stefanie and I were sworn enemies, and Nicole and I both assumed the other was a snob. Then in 7th, we all started eating lunch together, and Stef and I stopped threatening to beat each other up. :o) Now we are all ex-band-nerds together...! Long story-one you probably won't hear.
At church, I am pretty much friends with everyone. I mean, yeah, I talk with some more than others, but that is normal.
- Kristine and Karisa--the Giggle Patrol would probably be the ones I talk to the most... besides D.J. (my boyfriend).
- Jamie and Julia are plain awesome, and I wish I could see Julia more often!
- Desi is like a little sister to me...(since I don't have one) I miss her though!, cause now she goes to public school, and doesn't get to come to church as often.
- There are all the girls who call me "momma marci"---that's another long story-another one you probably won't hear.
- Julie Garner--the only person I know who goes on a mission trip more prepared than me!
- Kira--so when do I get to buy a car from you?
- Dawn--A person I really look up to, and can talk to about anything. She is always willing to pray, and always has an encouraging word and a smile on her face. She has always treated me as an equal, instead of someone who only got to hang out with her every now and then because I am younger.
- My pals in Honduras!-- you guys know who you are! Miss you all!
- Jason--Who set an example for me by taking his Bible to school, and carrying it proudly our senior year.
- Alfredo--a big ol' blessing, and I appreciate that. You are awesome.
- Lawrence and Tony-- The guys from "out-of-town" who brought more to Victoria than they probably realize! Boy do they love Jesus.
- All of my friends from IMPACT!--Chris and Summer, Chris and Dawn, Jared, Tammy, Bridget, Rebecca, Walt, David, Augie and Jenny, and so on and so on.
- D.J.--Thankyou for always being there for me, and loving me now matter how silly I act at times! I love you! :o)
