Historic Kilgore Post Office
Once the post office of Kilgore, this building also served as an emergency storm shelter. Inside, there once were murals painted high up on the walls and once the post office was moved, so were the murals. The murals were painstakingly removed with care and placed in the East Texas Oil Museum.
Brook Drive
This is just one of the many beautiful historic houses located in the Brook Drive area located behind Kilgore College.
Texan Theater
The Texan theatre is located across from the old post office. The Texan theatre is presently being restored and preserved by the Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation.
