Hide
Hide simply makes the main window disappear and leaves an icon in the
system tray. You right click on the icon in the tray to display the main
window again.
Start/Stop
The start/stop button starts the actual timer. So if you start PopV but
never press the start button none of the verses will display. Once PopV is
started the button then says stop so you can stop display verses in case
you are busy and you don't want them popping while you are working.
Quit
Quit does just that, quits. It stops the timer and closes PopV.
Menu
There are 2 menu options from the main window, open and setup.
Open is for selecting the verse file you want to use, such as proverbs.pov.
Setup is where you actually create the verse files.
